I'm the groom! What am I suppose to wear for a beach wedding??

Hello boys! Don’t think we have forgotten about you!

We want you to look amazing at your beach wedding too!
We leave you some tips to select the best suit:
  • Use soft and light fabrics, this will allow you to feel comfortable all day long, remember that in a beach wedding the weather is hot. We recommend you to wear linen.
  • Wear light colors; beige, and white are good choices.
  •  You can wear a tie that matches with the color selected for the wedding.
  • If you want to wear a guayabera, just remember to use a boutonniere to distinguish from your guests.

You can ask your groomsmen to wear color guayaberas
 and it will look awesome.

Be careful!! How to choose the suppliers for our wedding??

Hello my brides-to-be,

We know your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, so make sure you contract the best and professional suppliers for that big day.
When you select a wedding planner, and pick a supplier from his/her portfolio, you will be in good hands, because your coordinator knows perfectly that vendor’s work and that’s why they recommend it to you; besides the service, probably your wedding planner will get a better price or a discount.

If you choose a supplier based on the price, without researching it, you will be flipping a coin, either it is an excellent one or it is a failure and in consequence, it could be a great expense.
So this does not happen to you, we are giving you three advices:
  1. Have an interview with them.
  2. Go to a real event (just to watch them in action)
  3. Ask their clients how their service was.

(Wedding Planner and writer of the book ¡Wow qué Boda! Invites you to read: how to interview your suppliers?

A unique foot accessory for the bride at a beach wedding

At a beach wedding, it is sometimes difficult for the bride to wear regular shoes as sand can get in them or heels can get buried, making it a potentially uncomfortable experience.
So I want to present this original idea:  Walking barefoot to the altar with these beautiful Barefoot Sandals, which you can find in a variety of colors and styles.
They are an artful and unique touch and will get noticed.

Remember that if you plan to wear this accessory, you must make sure to get a pedicure so your feet look amazing.

Types of Symbolic Ceremony

Last week we talk about this kind of ceremony, today I want to be more specific about what is done in these rituals.
Symbolic Ceremonies are rituals that symbolize the union of two people -and their individualities- in a life in common through marriage
This symbolism is represented by de Light Ceremony, or the Sand Ceremony.

Sand Ceremony
For this ritual you will need 2 bottles with colour sand, one for each, and another bg bottle where the two of you will mix the sand, this will symbolize the couple’s union.

Light Ceremony
Known as  Candle Ceremony too, you will need 2 thin candles and a thick one.
The thin candles will represent groom and bride, and de thick one will represent the union of the couple.

Both types of ceremonies are really romantic, and you will have a nice souvenir that you can place in your house, you can light the candles when you have a marriage problem, you’ll see it’ll be fixed.

Remember to contact Bodas Huatulco if you want help to organize these ceremonies.

Tips for perfect pictures at your ceremony

Today our friend Ezequiel Hernández, professional photographer, shares with us some tips  to get amazing pictures at your wedding ceremony.

As we all know, uploading pictures at social media is really important, so tell your guests, if they want to take pictures to share them,  to do it from their places.
The reason is to avoid the paparazzi effect!.

Tell them only your photographer can take pictures from different angles of the church or the place where the ceremony is happening.

The wedding day, put a message at the entrance, where it’s specified this; also tell your wedding coordinator, so they remind your guests.

Ezequiel, with his 10 years experience, tells you if you follow this advice, you will not only have a beautiful and elegant ceremony, also you will preserve some amazing photos, which reflect those feelings and special moments, on the contrary, you will have pictures like the following ones:
